Impact & Sustainability Reporting
Whether you’re a corporation needing a copywriter to prepare your annual sustainability report, or a SMB just starting their journey with impact reporting, I can help to consult, write, and project manage your sustainability report writing.
I’m a certified Sustainable Marketer through the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), with a professional certificate in Sustainable Marketing, Media, and Creative.
I’m also a native-English copywriter of 10-years having worked with various companies on their sustainable marketing campaigns and climate communication.
What is sustainability reporting?
Sustainability reports are a way for companies and organizations to publicly communicate about their environmental and social risks, impact projects, and sustainable practices to various stakeholder groups.
Impact and CSR reports are strategic documents for businesses, the c-suite, and investors. They both share the same goal of improving a company’s profitability and staying compliant with regulators – while safeguarding the environment and benefiting people.
A great sustainability report provides a sold narrative that helps to ethically and honestly shape the brand’s sustainability journey. The reporting builds trust and accountability, while also serving as a documentation for positive change and innovation.
There are multiple reporting frameworks and standards on the market. I’m familiar with many of them and can work with you specifically on the guidelines that you have set for yourselves.
The reporting standards that I am the most familiar with are GRI and EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for corporations, and the 17 SDGs and B Corp framework for SMBs.
What is impact reporting?
Take your reporting to the next level with an impact report! An impact report will communicate the tangible benefits that your company has on both people and the planet.
An impact report doesn’t look at the sustainable narrative as a series of inputs and outputs, rather it explores the outcomes and the meaningful change that comes with it. It showcases all activities and the changes a company has made to make positive impact across people and planet — outside of the organization.
A well-written impact report will communicate with trust and creditability. The figures and examples will be transparent and traceable. It has an honest analysis of both risks and opportunities — and all from a holistic view of the organization.
